What Are Clear Aligners?
.avif)
Invisalign clear aligners are custom-made, removable trays designed for orthodontic treatment. Made from smooth, durable plastic and crafted using advanced 3D imaging technology, they fit your smile with precision and slowly move your teeth into their ideal position.
How Do Clear Aligners Work?
Clear aligners work by applying gentle pressure to your teeth, moving them step by step into alignment. For optimal results, you need to use them 20 to 22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
You’ll also need to visit us about every six weeks to monitor your progress and ensure your treatment stays on track.

How Long Does the Clear Aligner Treatment Last?
The duration of your clear aligner treatment depends on your unique needs and the complexity of your case. Most people wear between 18 to 30 sets of aligners, with each aligner set worn for about two weeks. Our team will give you a timeline based on your treatment plan.
How to Care for Your Clear Aligners
Proper care ensures that your aligners remain in good condition throughout your treatment:
- Clean your aligners daily using lukewarm water and a soft toothbrush.
- Avoid eating or drinking with your aligners on (except for water).
- Store your aligners in their case when not in use to avoid loss or damage.
- Brush and floss your teeth before reinserting your aligners to maintain oral health.
- Keep track of your aligner sets to ensure you're always on the correct one.
