Denture Rebase & Repairs

Denture Rebase & Repairs

If your dentures are starting to feel loose or uncomfortable, it might be due to the base wearing down over time. When that happens, rebasing can help bring back the comfortable fit you need.

At Zelda Court Dental Care, we specialize in giving your dentures a fresh, sturdy base while preserving the existing teeth.

What is Denture Rebasing?

Denture rebasing is a process where the acrylic base of your dentures is completely replaced while the denture teeth remain intact. The procedure helps restore stability to your dentures, ensuring a secure fit without the need for new teeth.

Rebasing is similar to relining, but instead of just adding a new lining, the entire pink-acrylic base is replaced for a fresh start.

When Is a Rebase Recommended?

We might suggest a rebase when:

  • Your denture base is cracked or damaged
  • The acrylic base has weakened due to age or wear
  • You have an old denture that no longer fits securely
  • You need a replacement for an immediate denture
